In November 2024, I participated to the panel discussion on how to guarantee that barriers at universities are sustainably dismantled as well as how to anchor intersectional knowledge in Swiss higher education institutions. I provided expertise in digital accessibility and inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education. I notably highlighted the importance of raising awareness among all university stakeholders and pointed out the importance of holding all actors responsible for inclusion and equality.

AI EdTech: Opportunity of Risk for Students with Disabilities?

In April 2023, I gave a keynote talk at the University Future Festival in Heilbronn (Germany) on the opportunities and risks of using AI Edtech for students with disabilities (recording on YouTube). This talk was partially based on results from a scoping review I am currently revising. During the event, I also gave an interview entitled “AI tools for students with disabilities” in German with one of the co-organizers of the event KI Campus. In the interview, I explain how I imagine AI tools can be used in higher education to promote the inclusion of students with disabilities.
